All accounts are charged $20.00/mo for repayment of long-term DDW/DEQ LOAN #3F138 for 2010 infrastructure improvements.

II.    STANDBY TAPS  $10.00/mo, parcels with one water share attached, no meter, plus above $20.00/mo for ‘Project Upgrade’ loan repayment.

        C.    COMMERCIAL - INDUSTRIAL, INSTITUTIONAL, NON-RESIDENTIAL BUSINESSES

                20,001 up to 40,000 gals - $2.00/1,000 gals
                40,001 gals and up - $3.00/1,000 gals

        D.   COMMERCIAL USE SHORT-TERM RENTALS.   Applicable to (i) single-family dwellings, (ii) operating with a valid &                        current conditional use permit or other applicable permits/licenses, (iii) resorts, (iv) bed & breakfast, (v) apartment, (vi)                 boarding house, (vii) vacation rental, (viii) hotel/motel rented or leased at an hourly rate up to forty-five (45) day period.

                0 up to 5,000 gals = $25.00
                5,000 up to 10,000 gals = $5.90 / 1,000 gals
               10,000 up to 20,000 gals = $6.96 / 1,000 gals
               20,000 up to 30,000 gals = $8.21 / 1,000 gals
               30,000 up to 40,000 gals = $9.44 / 1,000 gals 
               40,000 and up = $10.57 / 1,000 gals

IV.    ADMINISTRATIVE FEES
Returned Check Fee = $45.00, or the cost to LDWA, whichever is greater.
Account Transfer = $50.00
Copies of Bylaws, Articles of Incorporation, Amendments, Resolutions - No Charge.
Copies of additional documents such as meeting minutes = $.15 page.

V.    METER RENTAL RATES – APPLICATION REQUIRED 
Security Deposit (refundable if meter returned in good condition) = $1,500.00.
$50.00 the first day, $25.00 each additional day; plus $5.00 per 1,000 gallons.
If rental period exceeds thirty (30) days, meter is subject to inspection by authorized LDWA personnel.

VI.    NEW CONSTRUCTION

    WATER CONNECTION FEE (INSTALLATION OF WATER METER) - $1,500.00.

    IMPACT FEES 2017:
                            ¾” Meter $7,417.00
                            1” Meter $16,045.00
                            1-½” Meter $53,187.00
                            2” Meter $85,623.00

VII.    PURCHASE OF ONE CULINARY WATER SHARE - $5,000.00.   One LDWA water share per Parcel ID Tax Number recorded with Washington County, UT, as of Dec 31, 2015, is available for purchase.   The engineering Capacity Analysis completed in 2015 found that the number of parcels within LDWA’s service area exceeded LDWA’s capacity of water rights and water storage. Beginning Jan 1, 2016, applicants with parcels created or annexed into the LDWA service area may be required to provide LDWA with prove of proven water right(s) and water storage to LDWA for culinary service. All water right(s) and storage require review and approval by the Association at applicant’s expense.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF FIRE HYDRANTS IS ILLEGAL AND WATER THEFT WILL BE OF PERMANENT RECORD WITH THE UTAH WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT. MINIMUM FINE is $500.00 and is subject to additional fees. Payment is the responsibility of the property owner of legal record. 

WATER SHARE REINSTATEMENT FEE - Initial Fee of $2,500.00, capped at $5,000.00. For SHARE CANCELLATION POLICIES in compliance with the LDWA Bylaws, see Billing & Collection Policy.

RES 2010-04  WATER SHARE CANCELLATION & REINSTATEMENT POLICY  
Fee charged for properties where the monthly payments due to LDWA have not been paid for a minimum of 3 months. 
Reinstatement of a water share begins at $2,500.00 and is capped at $5,000.00 or the cost of one water share, whichever is greater.

PROPERTY OWNERSHIP - ACCOUNT TRANSFERS.    LDWA water rates are based on the full month and cannot be prorated for a portion of the month. 
Shareholders buying and selling property are advised to contact their realtor and/or title company to ascertain the amount due at the date of closing a property sale.
